I'm over my temper tantrum.

Unfortunately I was enjoying a lovely break on the beach, logged into Mastodon and saw some ugly.

I have been promising myself to start moving away from commenting on what is happening in the moment and talk about more general legal issues. It invites less anger and hate.

Like everyone else, I'm relieved that it wasn't a hung jury or acquittal.

I have no doubt there will be an appeal because there are appealable issues.

But appealable does not mean winable.

@Teri_Kanefield @jwz. I don't know if looking at larger policy issues always helps. I LOVE policy. Got a degree in it actually. But most people become antsy when we begin to get into details. I've learned to make my points short and streamlined. Then I try my best to show concrete actions and/or changes from my policy ideas. Some folks cannot do multilayered abstract thinking at all and policy discussions can get there very fast. YMMV

@Brandi_Buchman. I glad you aren't hiding the depression. Are you able to access any resources to help deal with it? I've had a good response to emdr therapy for ptsd. What can we do to help?
