Listening to |s on comes at the cost of many features that are standard in other free apps like adding custom feeds, chapters, intro skipping, custom skip intervals, different playback speeds per podcast, etc.
BUT, it also comes with the benefit of siloing users, and strengthening Spotify's monopoly on audio content. I for one can't wait until they reach phase 2&3 of EEE on podcasts, audio books and more 🤩

I discovered "Daria" today and got a bit sad that I didn't discover it earlier. It's very relatable today, but if I'd been exposed to it earlier I maybe could have actually learned some things from it then, instead of "just" recognizing its lessons now.
I still very much appreciate it and am taking things away from it (in addition to enjoying the humor and the vibes).

bubble, help me out. I'm looking for a rules and setting light SciFi focusing on ships (mining, travel, and/or dog fights) rather than characters.
Like "Lasers and Feelings", but everyone gets their own ship.

Having "not all disabilities are visible" posted at me wasn't enough to change my behavior.
A friend told me they are narcoleptic and I feel like a complete ass for having commented on them looking tired a couple of times in the past.
I took "not all disabilities are visible" to just mean to accept when people tell you they have a disability/illness, but it also means don't blame/shame people for their "weird" behavior/moods/habits. (And those actually should be fine even without any disability)

I'm on my way to the Improv Festival in Amsterdam! I'll be live tooting my experience (of the festival, not just the journey) under the hashtag . Last year that amounted to about 2 posts in the late evenings recapping each day.
Last year's festival was my highlight of the year so I have high hopes again this year.
Sadly none of my friends from home are joining me (last year we were a group of 4), but now I'm certain I'll re-meet all the lovely people from last year there 😊

I'm currently on the first of 3 trains and expect to arrive in Amsterdam at about 18:00.
"Expect" is a big word though when travelling with the Deutsche Bahn. Weeks ago I already started receiving mails that my "journey wouldn't be possible as planned". We'll see 😅
