Ok I only now figured out that people are talking about AI when they say you shouldn’t trust an LLM. Are we all aware that LLM is an actual academic degree or am I the only one who was confused by that?

Two days ago, I went to an especially dangerous place, with an and special prescription glasses designed to keep surrounding air out of my eyes. I snorted not one but two different kinds of nasal sprays immediately after, and gargled with CPC mouthwash.

There I wound up closer to an unmasked person who had obviously been sick than I’d been since 2020. Sniffles and throat clearing, and standing right next to me.

It was the nurse at my doctor’s office.

I finally completely shut down my Twitter account today and I'm a little sad. I've been on twitter for 15 years. There is a cat account there for a cat named Finn that I will particularly miss. Oh well.

Almost a month ago, the vet told me Happy, at 13.5yrs, was nearing liver failure. It was almost certainly cancer based on her bloodwork.

Here she is today, after many more vet visits, an overnight in the ER & 4 meds. Turns out it was a bacterial infection. She’s recovering & I highly recommend pet insurance.

I’m so grateful for more time with this very good girl. I also know that no matter how many years we’re fortunate to have w our dogs & cats, it’s never going to be enough.

I'm so proud of the lettuce I grew this year on the roof. Soon enough there will be carrots, beats, and potatoes.

When I get old and gray I'll put a chicken coop and beehive out there too.

I can only laugh when I hear that the “law and order” party that had an obsessive problem with Hillary’s emails is a-ok with trump’s alleged crimes. It’s pointless to think about it. This isn’t about crime, good and bad, ethics, love of country, devotion to the Constitution, or anything other than sheer, unadulterated power grabs and a change in social mores that makes it ok to overtly disrespect any human you don’t agree with. It never was.

@andrew That will likely improve quickly, though. I think that's a good approach. I have a competitive streak and always need to try to kick my own butt, so I either count pushups or count minutes/seconds for planks and just try to outdo what I did the last time

@Mrfunkedude it was actually a terrible day and then I checked work email as I was about to go to bed and found that I had just had one of the biggest wins of my career. Quite a roller coaster of a day!
