I always remember this song sadly, as my youngest Uncle died in an auto accident at 22, while I was listening to this on the radio. Saw the ambulance, but didn't know yet.

@TheSauce My sister played guitar, and locally was quite famous for awhile. A teen girl with real talent, but I was in the bedroom next to her, and I swear, I don't want to hear Anne Murry's Snowbird ever again LOL

@cobalt I was just saying to someone, my sister had talent, at 14 she played at an opening concert to 50,000 people. She couldn't carry all the roses home. She learned every song, and if you've ever heard someone trying to find a note, starting and stopping, that's how I heard these songs LOL

There were jealous people at work that would report that I had an unauthorized computer on site, and suddenly my door would open, and in would barge a team of IT geeks to analyse everything on the PC.
There was nothing on it. It booted to a floppy, had Edlin to write and a dial-up to a BBS using my second line. I was smarter than them LOL

I talk to people from the UK pretty regularly, I watch a lot of BBC programming, I read a lot of books by authors from the UK, but sometimes they will suddenly use a word I've never heard in my life, and I'm beginning to think they are pranking us, and every other person from the UK is in on the joke, and just validates whatever the other person says!

Last spring, going for my morning walk, I was alarmed to smell fresh smoke.
No one near me burns wood, it was early, there was no sign of where it was coming from, I checked for chimneys all around. Finally, I had to call 911.
Firefighters too could smell it, and we went on a tour of the neighbourhood trying to find the source. And Nothing.

Today, just before sunrise again, (I had headphones on) my street was flooded in Red lights. It happened again, someone else must have called it in. /2

@tc_morekindness I get concerned too. It's that smell, if you've ever been around a house fire, it doesn't smell like a wood stove. And it settles in like low fog.
