Today I ordered Taco Bell and asked for two fire sauce packets. And I got exactly two!

I was pleasantly surprised, because usually I get either zero or twenty+ sauce packets, no in between.

For today's #ComicShowAndTell, I have my only comic that was produced in cooperation with the FBI!

This is Captain America Goes To War Against Drugs (pub. 1991). It's 20 pages and was free at the time. This book is full of 90s outfits and tons of #JustSayNo kinds of stuff.

There is a story - aliens are trying to take over humanity by bringing drugs to earth. Meanwhile, Captain America helps a baseball-playing teen quit an unnamed substance.

Captain America consoles a boy who worries about his friend who is on drugs. He tells him he did the right thing by contacting somebody and provides a toll free number, 1-800-622-HELP, which is still the active hotline for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
From the beginning of the book: "The development and first printing of this special comic book have been accomplished through the support and efforts of the Marvel Entertainment Group, Inc., the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Office for Substance Abuse Prevention, the American Council for Drug Education and the National Institute on Drug Abuse."

So I'm starting a weekly #ComicShowAndTell where I share my comics and collectibles, from the notable to the bizarre. I might have manga to talk about too, once in a while.

I'll try to keep this going once a week, maybe not always on the same day though.

I'm really hopeful about a return to a DIY internet. I don't think it'll be for everyone, I know there are a lot of people who just can't do social media without something like Facebook that holds their hand, but I'm hopeful for fewer walled gardens for those who can manage without them.
