I did not realize Robert Kennedy, Jr.’s Super Bowl ad was a replay of an ad run by John F. Kennedy. I wondered about its retro feel and who it might appeal to. It seemed to me to be an incredible waste of campaign dollars.

Now that I know, I will say, “Robert Kennedy, Jr., you are no John F. Kennedy.” I can’t believe he would try to make the comparison.

It doesn’t matter which side you’re on, if you make sweeping generalizations about a group of people you will be wrong about the individuals in that group at least some of the time and sometimes most of the time.

If you’re working to reduce or eliminate that group’s authority over you and yours, understanding this fact seems important.

I was following someone and they disappeared for awhile. They are back now. When I checked for new posts, I discovered I was no longer following them.

I’m looking for info and advice: 1. Did they set something to take me off their follow list? (If that is possible, I will not refollow them). 2. If they “parked” their account for awhile, would that have reset me to not following? 3. Do these things sometimes just happen?

I would enjoy continuing to follow them, but I don’t want to be rude.
