So, I’ve been considering micromobility options recently to help me get out a little bit more and range better. My dog told me he’d appreciate it if I got out a little more on my off-days. I don’t know why he’s gotta be so judgy like that…...
I’ve actually been looking at getting an e board for my 4 mile commute to work. I’ve been researching reviews to decide on a board with good reliability and ride comfort primarily, and the flex has come up often. Any especially good or bad experiences with it?
Paramotoring, or Powered Paragliding, is an amazing sport — the cheapest way to fly! The gear is also very compact and there’s no licensing in the United States (although training is strongly recommended)....
Hey just found this community! How expensive is the cheapest way to fly? I’m sure there’s many price points but maybe just an on average? And is the fan powered via motor or battery?
Edit: (Slice of bread with a hole cut in the middle and an egg fried in it.) I have always called them daddy-o eggs but I have recently been informed that is incorrect.-
Ok I have a question. I’m kinda a noob when it comes to privacy. I’ll follow the guides and do the things to try to minimize ad companies selling my data etc....
Lemmy is the only social media I have, but we are connected via Whatsapp. I’m thinking that since we were both connected to the wifi without a VPN, that’s the probable source of information bleed.
I have always wanted to try printing larger, using a bigger nozzle - just got around to swapping to a .6mm in my MK3S+. Printed a gift for a childhood friend. 300% size. Took just under 10 hrs. With the slicer settings on .4mm it was over 17hrs.
First thing would be to figure out if you’re still under the limit. If you don’t have to do them, don’t do them.
If you are over the limit, there are plenty of free options out there to assist. I personally use free tax usa which works for me. It’s great if your income just comes from normal sources like a job, it’s not as great if you have investment income or things like that.
I think turbo tax has a free version as well if you meet some qualifications. It’s a bit simpler to use imo, but Im not a fan of the company
So a while back I came across an article/essay talking about how privacy is more than just a personal right and rather something about society as a whole. It went into detail about different arguments against privacy, such as when personal privacy is sacrificed for the good of the people. I remember a good chunk of it talked...
I’m looking to start brewing again. I used to brew beer, but I want to brew fruit wines and meads now. I’d love to make an alcoholic ginger ale or ginger mead. Anyone have a good recipe? I’d like for it to be sweet with a really strong ginger flavor.
I don’t have a recipe, but I primarily make mead. I’m curious if it would be better for ginger to be added in primary or secondary. Adding it in secondary might be better for that clean ginger flavor.
I’d just follow a simple plain mead recipe and rack it to secondary with some fresh ginger. Probably would remove the ginger after 3-4 days.
