Apple launched its new Journal app today, which somehow does not ask you if you want to lock access during setup (or mention that’s even possible anywhere?). But it’s in settings > journal > lock journal, at least

though they should offer an alternate passcode option imo

Here is my one little iOS 17 tip: you can enable the additional tracker blockers used in Safari’s Private Browsing all the time.

Settings > Safari > Advanced > Advanced Tracker and Fingerprint Blocking > tap “All browsing”

If this ever breaks a site, tap the “Aa” button in the URL bar, then “Reduce Other Privacy Protections”
