@croyle I moved most of my meat to my downstairs freezer earlier today; that's where I took the hardest hit the last two times we had wind storms.

@croyle The last two outages were in the summer. I'm near several schools, so maybe our neighborhood would get priority since school is still in session for 2 1/2 more weeks.

@hunting_phoenix A small branch on my neighbor's tree fell down, but that's the only damage I see. My wife's school was closed due to a power outage though.

the geese have learned to block traffic. on a 25-30mph residential street, most drivers will slow down and stop to let a goose cross the road - if not out of compassion, because hitting an animal that large will probably mess up your car. yesterday we observed 3 instances of geese stepping in front of traffic, and instead of crossing the street, standing still or sitting down in the road until the cars were forced to go around them. the geese have discovered their power and i can't wait to see what they do with it next

@trash_witch Wild turkeys do that around here. I watched a bus driver get out of his vehicle and shoo a bunch out of the way. They also attack cop cars and USPS trucks during mating season because they're blue, red, and white around here.

@bedirthan @Alphastream I think him being a sex symbol is just a cross he's going to have to bear...in any case, my wife watches the show and his absence in S2 didn't really bug her. I agree that if he's never coming back, they should just re-cast him.

Okay any ideas on how to do followup on kickstarter? I just realized I haven't gotten any of my .pdfs for 7th seas - 2nd edition and it looks like the links no longer work. plus I don't think John Wick no longer works there.
