Tonight my group is going to run our first session of and I'm really excited! I rolled a bunch of dice to determine my backstory, and ended up becoming the ship's counselor while also being a Klingon. Which is so goofy that I can't wait to see the shenanigans he gets up to!

I'm told this is largely a Midwestern thing (correct me if I'm wrong, I suppose), so I want to share the Gospel of "oh, it's going" as a response to "how's it going" (these are pronounced with the "in" sound not "ing" but "goin'" looks weird).

Some days things are not great and someone asks you "How's it going?" and you just can't bring yourself to say "good".

So just say "oh...it's going" in a kind of tired tone that sounds a bit like a sigh.

Microsoft Teams' latest update now means that if a meeting is cancelled or time changed, which happens a lot for us, I now have to acknowledge it in Outlook AND clear the red notification bubble in teams for the change I've already dealt with.

This is strictly worse behavior. How did this get approved? What's the use case here?

NPR reports on a new message from Haibatullah Akhundzada, the group's supreme leader.
