Netflix’s acclaimed 19th-century series “Bridgerton” returns with the first half of its third season, offering a more lush and enticing experience than ever. The season kicks off with new debutantes entering the marriage market, dazzling Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) while Lady Whistledown’s latest gossip pamphlet...
Oh, #Bridgerton Season 3 is May 16? If only I had 2 days where I could do little but sit/lie around and re binge watch two seasons of something! And then two more similar days to binge watch a new thing!
Every situation has a bright side, I'm telling ya.
Would you rather read the books or watch the TV series of whatever universe comes to mind? #polls
I've debated this with #Bridgerton for instance as I am now on the second book which I think is more historically accurate while from what I've seen of the show from clips it seems to be more of a fantasy from what is implemented. I like books because they allow me to picture everything the way I want to from the author's description.
Okay okay okay can we just talk about how BEAUTIFUL the actress who plays Penelope is? (I don't know her name, sorry.) She's obviously going for the glowup in this season, but she has always been such a cutie. Here she's radiant. I'm losing my mind.
Finally getting around to watching Bridgerton. Question without spoilers, but in the books do all the Bridgerton siblings end up in heteronormative relationships, or do any end up happily queer?
The Minnesota #JASAN region proudly welcomes Julia Quinn, author of the #Bridgerton book and movie series, in conversation with Candice Hern. The event is on Zoom and costs $10. The event is on February 10 and is from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EST. (I'm debating on whether or not I'm going. If you go, tell us about it!)
Lady Whistledown's silence is over, and it would seem she is revealing the Ton's most speculated secret yet. Bridgerton Season 3 will arrive in two parts with Part 1 premiering May 16th and Part 2 on June 13th.
OMG if I dislike the #Bridgerton adaptation doesn't mean I'm against diversity & LGBT. In fact, I'm really hoping one of the male leads hook up with a butler (there's rumors about that) and I'll most certainly watch that. The butler should always get some.
Anyway, the main reason why I don't like it is cos I think it's too campy & trying too hard to push the diversity angle. I'm all for diversity. FFS I live in Malaysia where you have temples and mosques next to each other. I just ...
Why should I, seriously? It's a preference thing. I read the Julia Quinn novels. I expected a sweet and genteel Pride & Prejudice ala Colin Farrell show. I was disappointed it was OTT campy and oversexed. Why must everything devolve into shagging with US adaptations, seriously??
What's so hard to understand? Doesn't mean I'm a racist and bigot omggg
