My mastodon "style" is follow a giant swak o ppl, but then turn off almost all reblogs so I mostly get everybody's OG toots.

Problem is somewhere in the last few weeks I seem to have lost the folks that were boosting joy - especially nature photos (moss, think trunk, birds), and the memes n lolz n utter bloody silliness.

So if I'm following you and you boost this kinda stuff can you give me a wave? I need to turn a few more boosts back on apparently.

But what about a retirement home for magical grownups? Imagine reaching a ripe old age, children and grandchildren grown and gone, and one day you find a gold-embossed letter in your mailbox:

"Greetings!
You have been selected for residence at the Moonfrost Home for Exceptional Elders."

Somebody write a novel about a magical retirement home. I want to read it.

As a change of pace, I'm doing a #knitting project that's simply all about the yarn. No texture of complicated stitches, no button holes, just @knitting

The yarn is Buxom Cat Knits Lotus Sock. The pattern is Rebel Rebel by Libby Jonson. I bought the yarn years ago in San Francisco and finally matched it to the right project.

Top-down on 3.25 mm needles goes fast when you don't have to look at a pattern file much as you go.
