Flatpak Runtimes are entire operating systems, I am the first to tell you that, I touched half of them..

You know why we had to build and ship an entire new operating system on top of your distro?

CAUSE YOUR DISTRO IS FUCKING BROKEN.

The only way to make sure it won’t get in the way of the applications, is to touch it the least possible.

Flatpak isn’t a silver bullet nor the solution anyone would want. It’s what can be done to mitigate as much damage as possible with the current status quo.
