You’d think I’d feel frustrated or exhausted after spending basically five hours figuring out how to dynamically morph an SVG bezier curve based on user input, but to be honest, I’m feeling the best I’ve felt in a while. 😅

Having the time to really polish something or just to spend on exploring silly ideas is something I really miss in my day job. And to be honest, my life, lately. 😅

Fingers crossed future me won’t be very upset that I stayed up this late tonight. 🤣🤞

I’m increasingly more sure that creating more SEO optimised content is not in fact the solution to the discoverability issue of the web. Maybe the algorithms should start looking at the amount of content published by a source when considering the ranking. Higher quantity usually means less quality, except for some proven sources like StackOverflow et al. 🤔

While I cannot overstate how happy I am that #Apple backed down and will continue to allow #PWA on #iOS in the EU, I don’t trust this peace. 🤔 Somehow it feels like they merely moved the phase-out to iOS 18. Let’s hope that won’t happen. 😅

For now a lot of motivation to work on my apps returned and hey—seems like my iPhone won’t turn into an expensive paper weight once 17.4 drops. 😉😅

I’ve been active on #Tumblr since July of 2012. I think it was the second social network I ever signed up for and it definitely was the one where I had the biggest following. I met a lot of great people through it.

Tonight, I exported my data and I’m planning on deleting the account once I’ve verified everything is there. I’d be very sad to lose anything that I posted there.

It’s kind of weird to see more than ten years of my life wrapped up in a little folder on my laptop… 😅

Sometimes I wonder if my insistence of handcrafting my code is outdated. 🤔 I love writing code, feeling the familiarity of a project I know inside-out.

Yet all around me, people seem to be jumping on tools that abstract away the code, be it “AI” or “no code”. I never had fun working with a WYSIWYG editor to build a website, it was always more pain than worth.

But maybe that’s me? Am I being inefficient?
