I was going to paddle into town today to buy coffee, but the weather is awful... then I discovered that Nero will send beans via Deliveroo, so I've ordered that and a fresh coffee + vegan cookie.

Free delivery, £1.60 service charge... cheaper than the car park fee + better than taking 90 mins out of my day and getting soaked in the rain 😅

So, yesterday I dropped a cola can in my office, and stupidly, I opened it too quickly after this. It ended pretty much as you can imagine.

I cleaned the floor at the time, and thought, that the place looked a bit dusty... so I've just spent the past hour dusting and cleaning everything.

I’m pleased that I did it though, and everything is back to normal, except for my deskmat, which is outside, drying in the warm air.

Trying to get away from buying heavily processed vegan meat substitutes and making more use of tofu.

My go to is pressing and thinly slicing firm tofu into strips, and marinading in dark soy sauce, maple syrup and whatever spicy sauce I have. I then air fry them for about 7 minutes.

Is there a name-and-shame list of companies forcing AI tools into the products we use?

Perhaps with instructions on how to opt out of or block these tools... and even alternatives which don't include AI?

If it's made unprofitable or financially damaging for companies to force AI upon us, then perhaps they will think twice before doing it?

I realise that coming back from this dystopian AI hellscape is unlikely of course.
