So here's a thing y'all...

I don't talk about this much because I suck at promoting myself, but for those of you who weren't aware, I published some books. Three of them are a fantasy trilogy still available via Carina Press, under the pen name of Angela Highland. The other two are books 1 and 2 of an urban fantasy series, self-published under my actual name, Angela Korra'ti.

And since I continue to be unemployed AF right now, if I could make anything at all off of sales to new readers, that'd sure be super helpful right now.

I'd be interested in seeing this except for the part where under no circumstances am I setting foot back in a theater yet.

But if this movie's been remastered, and it looks awesome, I'd definitely want to watch it once it's streamable. We'll see if Cameron actually releases it later to streaming services. Or better yet, puts it on disc.

Experienced SDET seeking a remote position where I can work on test automation. I've been in tech since 1991 and the majority of my career has been in QA, with the last eight years or so being SDET work. Work experience includes:

• Manual and automated testing
• Web front end testing
• UI testing on iPad-based apps
• Backend/API testing
• Automation work done in Python, Java, and most recently, Swift
• Working equally well on macOS, Windows, and Linux, including command line work
• Familiarity with testing platforms and tech such as Selenium and TestNG
• Familarity with several modern tools including Git, Jira, Confluence, Postman, Docker, and Cocoapods

I got pinged today about a contract that seemed interesting--up until the part where I learned that candidates would be expected to pre-record their own screening interviews for the position. And there were very persnickety steps that you would have to follow. Failure to adhere to these steps would disqualify you from being considered for the position no matter how well your skillset might match up with the job.

I had to tell the recruiter no, because just talking with Dara about this caused me to show stress/anxiety signs. And if the hiring team has the kind of culture that would expect a candidate to jump through those hoops before they'd even be willing to talk to them, it's clearly not a team culture I'd be a good fit for.

I've installed the new #SteamDeck system update, and if I'm not mistaken, this HAS made my colors on screen brighter! And trust me when I say, y'all, that I've been doing a LOT of #Skyrim on this thing over the last many months, so I can tell if the color mix suddenly looks different. ;)

Meanwhile, today's favorite #Skyrim screenshot: I'm running Zak's Imperial Female Guards and Soldiers in Kendeshel's run, and this mod apparently has a side effect! To wit, generating giant Stormcloaks in the leveled lists when running civil war battles. LOLOLOL. :D
