TL;DR since this is confusing a bunch of folks: If you make money on the App Store, you are a Trader, and under the DSA are required to provide a postal address, email address, and phone number, that will all be displayed publicly on the App Store
(Google Play has had similar rules for years, so if you publish on Android you might be familiar with this)
There are people who swear to me they haven't noticed Twitter's quality deteriorate since Musk took over but for the last few weeks any time I'm linked to a post it opens like this, and if I background the app 4/5 times it just disappears. Do people just not notice things like this or is it cope?
Anyone manage to get alternate app icons working on visionOS? The API is available, the Human Interface Guidelines suggest using it on visionOS, but in the simulator at least I get "The requested operation couldn’t be completed because the feature is not supported"
@christianselig I got all of my alternative icons layers together for @alpenglowapp only to run into the same. I wonder if the API is available just to ease transition to visionOS or they missed something. supportsAlternateIcons returns false.
Ahead of handing Apple Vision Pro review units out to press, it looks like (and I can confirm) Apple is already pushing approved third-party visionOS apps to the App Store.
If you want to see your app featured in reviews, maybe start talking to your favorite journalists!
U2 is about to kick off their residency at the new Sphere venue in Las Vegas. Simultaneously, I've heard that Apple has been filming some VR content with U2/Bono this year.
I have no idea if there's a connection or not, but the Sphere seems like a venue that is perfect for shooting VR concerts. Apple also filmed an interview thing with U2 at the Sphere earlier this year.
