In other news, I just updated the Calckey AiScript documentation. It now includes an in-depth explanation of the syntax using AiScript version .11

This ports a translated version of the official AiScript documentation on the topic, but reorganized a bit and added guidance from my own experience.

So, an update on things.

  1. I'm very sorry for all of the degraded performance lately on calckey.social. As you may or may not know, we've been testing changes with our codebase, database deployment, ims deployment, and a whole lot more. After a lot of testing and changes, I thought that we were good enough to start opening signups again. Turns out... we're not. As I continue to work on things and start team up with some very smart people who've worked in deployment and scaling systems, we're going to do our absolute best to make sure that we can handle things on all ends, and hopefully get extra hands on deck for day-to-day operations, so it's not all on my shoulders. I was sadly unable to attend to a lot of things yesterday due to being out of town for the holiday, and being in a no-service area for the majority of the day, so I didn't know that there were issues until it was too late. Thank you for your patience as we go through growing pains. A full write-up on what went wrong, the steps we took, and how it's fixed (once it's fixed!) will be made after all this is done. For real.

  2. I did NOT expect this amount of support, interest, and coverage! Hitting 13k from 11k in a little over 2 days across all servers is still boggling my mind. And it's not just calckey.social -- so many other servers are getting new users, and even ~30 new servers cropped up! Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. I'll make sure that I do my hardest to make sure you all have a great experience.

  3. As promised, you all deserve a peak into what we've been working on in secret for months. More details to come tonight/tomorrow. Stay tuned. 😉

Visited my family this weekend and they sent me home with some childhood memorabilia.

I really can't make this up. The "Lil' Panther Club" was a savings club for kids at our hometown bank. If you saved $10 in a savings account you got the cap. My roots run deep.

I so wish this cap would fit my big old head now but alas, it's not the case.

The ruling allowing business to discriminate against people (and anyone based on "religious beliefs" is just horrifying and sad.

If you are an LGTBQ+ kid, or have one in your life, let them know you don't agree with the ruling. Say it out loud. Most of all, just love them.

That is above and beyond the most important thing right now, and is the differentiator from previous generations, where being gay was pushed into a hushed corner of a dirty room, into the dark.

@Richard_Littler @actuallyautistic ….. oh my gosh this is how I feel in small or big crowds. I can’t block out any sounds or things happening around me at all and I have to escape after 30 minutes to “let my ears rest” and recharge. That’s neurodivergence?

Sooo I'm sitting in a hotel room kind of bored, decided to poke around with Calckey Pages and AiScript.

I'm not 100% sure this is going to work for y'all...but...try this out. It SHOULD list your own pages that you've created. Right now, there's a bug in Calckey where the pages kind of disappear 👻 after you save.

Would love to know what forgotten trash or treasures you find if it does work! I need some entertainment. 🗑️ 💎
