I’m starting to dislike how more and more long form posts are appearing in my mastodon feed. It’s really not what I want. I know this was never really a twitter replacement as such, but let’s face it, that’s what most people who joined since Musk took over are looking for. Am starting to think my time with social media is coming to an end.

I’ve never played a Telltale game before so maybe I didn’t know what to expect but I didn’t really enjoy ep1 of The Expanse, and each episode is released every two weeks? What kind of bullshit is this?

Here I am again, at 1.25am. Even my US colleagues have finished working now.

Anyway, I went to bed yesterday and just set a countdown timer for 8 hours. Woke up about 20 minutes before it went off and went for Day 2 of week 3 of couch to 10k. Rest day tomorrow.

I've also done enough work this week that I am going to be available for messages, but otherwise am going to spend the day practicing guitar.

I’m a software engineer at DuckDuckGo but after 25+ years of tech stuff I am working towards becoming a professional musician, singer/song writer, mostly focussing on rock/metal, but also enjoy blues and folk, music theory and production. 📱➡️ 🎶

I also enjoy tabletop games and PS5 gaming. I prefer playing tabletop games in person but haven been known to play online during pandemics. 🎮 🎲
