Including:

  • swap to USB plug for power (fixed-20V USB-C trigger board, with an extra resistor to convince the existing power management that it’s all cool).
  • dump+edit+reflash the BIOS to remove the PCIe whitelist (eg. to later chuck a modem in there).

… which @jacqueline did all of, because they are cool hacker and i am (as per bios) just an eepy bean

Trigger board installed, in a black PLA housing, with a blob of hot glue to seal it in.

Been goofing around with probe holders for my multimeter. They always end up as a tangle shoved in a box, so it’s important to me that they be removable and usable without much/any setup and pack up.

My first attempt is a kitbashed and tweaked version of https://www.printables.com/model/526894-digital-multimeteroscilloscope-probe-holder-for-20, to make something that would hang on my ikea pegboard:
