I started the #WroughtWorlds tag more or less as an outlet to info-dump the bits that underpin my writing that I like thinking about... I'm probably just wailing into the void.
Currently The question comes out Friday or Saturday, while I'm working on building a list of questions to, I dunno keep on par with the other tags I participate in¿? You're free to join in on the 'tag or reply to my posts.

24-03-01 : Worldbuilding : Weapons
What do you do about weapons in your worlds?

It'll be a bit weird considering how creative I get with the culture building, and being a former blacksmith... I rarely, very very rarely invent a weapon.
There's enough weapons interesting and functional weapons across human history that I don't have to invent something unless it fills a cultural niche such as the Bat'leth.

241 — MC POV: If you could relive one day of your life without changing anything that happened, which day would you choose?

Parthia "Ta'regi": "I would choose not to. To relieve anything from before... To touch and hold my Wolfie once more, only to return to what has happened? An arrow through my heart and lungs would be less likely to kill me.
Please leave me be before tears lay siege to me..."

24-03-01— Introduce yourself as if you were a character in your story. What would your role be?

Nobody could really remember when she had started living there, nor could anyone recall where she came from.
She was the quiet kind lady at the end of town, who always listened when others spoke.

If someone dies with none to mourn them, she with her tome of tales and ink of tears sits nearby as they cross to the other side.

The memory keeper,
The story speaker,
The song weeper

She is the caillech Maeve.

239 — How does your MC feel about babies, children, and teenagers?

Parthia loves kids. Her and Pintac wanted to have a kid or two, which is mentioned in a dream sequence/ semi flashback scene. If you keep that in mind, it makes the scene where she starts calling herself "The Ta'regi" just heart wrenching.

237 — How would you describe your WIP’s ideal reader?

I dont know, I just kinda write what spills out of me and appreciat when it resonates with others.

2-26 Would you consider recording your own audiobook?

I'd direct a voice actor on how to read it.

But reading + recording it with this mal voce?

...no

Listening to the radio and a song from the playlist for The Cantata Of The Wild Soul pops on, and I started bawling because it the songs for the scene where she knows she has to leave in self exile

🎶Oh, Father tell me, do we get what we deserve?
Whoa, we get what we deserve🎶

25 What's the most out of character fact about your mentor character?

Hipa'tra?
There isn't one.
She was very 'What you see is what you get' & that is where Ta'regi/Parthia gets it from.
She respected people as individuals, and that includes kids.
She was honest but never cruel about it.

I snapped awake momentarily disoriented as to where I was.

The lessened light pouring through the windows told me I had been asleep an hour, maybe two.

My head pounded, and my eyes itched from the crying before I had passed out.

“Alrighty Par'. Let's avoid passing out in unsecure places in the future.”

I was half joking but it was still an important practice to mind when confronting future rocks in the river.

235 — MC or SC POV: Did you have a childhood nickname?

Tallia: "Yes.. and I pray to the seasons I never hear it ever again."

Aeslla: " Oh yeah. Ma' and Da' still call me Nibbles. Why? Oh, beause I like to eat slowly and taste every bite of my food. Unlike my lil' brothers. Those two could render a plow ox to clean bones before you finish drinking a cup of water. And that's not even when they're in wolf shape!"

Parthia: "Mum called me 'Beasty' or 'Thia'. The other kids called me 'Par' or 'Parsnip'. I don't remember how the fuck I got nicknamed 'Parsnip'. I hated that nickname, but once you get a nickname, you're stuck with until people forget it."

Jorōgumo

I knew Nimue & VEIL run in a custom mech, but now I know what the style/model is called. (I formerly though they used a modded Black Witch)
Rather fitting since they have a penchant for attacking her former employer Smith-Shimano Corpo (who's mechs are named after moths & butterflies)

24-02-24 : Characters : Language
Do you develop swear words & insults? If so what do they look like?

Yes, yes I do. One of the things I do IRL is pickup on small details about how people talk + behave. Most people telegraph a lot of information about themselves with how they say things, and the words they use... or choose to use.
The profanity and insults a character uses similarly conveys information about them, their culture, their experiences, their values, etc.

To pull from my SciFi for a change,
Dr.Nimue Anfarwol.
She works with AI, NHPs (Non Human Persons), and 'Eldritch Math' on a cloak+dagger space station.
One of her scathing insults was
"Call a daemon? You could call hot food from the mess hall..."
She's also referred to a project manager as "He's a recursive loop that one... Too bloody stupid to suffocate in a vented airlock."
"That fucking chem light battery?"

It's the texture of the brush strokes that add depth, you know?

24Feb- Has feedback from readers ever changed the way you write?

Yes-No
Style wise no. Other than adopting a Content Warning block at the top of a WiP. A reader thoroughly enjoyed a story, but their offhand remark about having to read in short bits because it was borderline triggering (actual triggering not that bastardized usage for 'angry')

Confidence wise YES. I write with a more solid confidence these days because it finally sank in after multiple people saying things such as "Why exactly do you think your writing is shit??"

24. If your love interest was a writer, what sort of books would they write?

Pintac? He's got that same Puckish goofball energy as Jason Mamoa attacking Henry Cavil
He'd write cook books and comedic bits tittled something like "Never Let A Monkey Steer The Ship"

234 — What is your "kryptonite" as a writer?

The day job / being forced to "work (they really mean submit to exploitation) or starve"

It steals from me my time, my energy, and my mental health.
It's straight up Green Kryptonite

Does your MC or SC view themselves as virtuous and moral?

Parthia/Ta'regi : Her lens is nature, she knows the concepts from Old Man Ruell's books, but doesn't quite grok the notions behind them. She'd say she's as virtuous as an elk, fox, squirrel, or the river.

Tallia : no, no she does not. Virtuous & Moral are loaded words/terms for her. She sees her self as someone doing what good they can, and being a better person than the hot mess she was when she arrived in Koruu-on-the-Bay

caointeoireacht, to random

24-02-23 : What was the first story you ever wrote?

¿3rd grade? story about a wolf that bit people because they wouldn't leave them alone.
Yeah... there was a parent - teacher "concern" confrence

The ship teetered atop the mountain for a second that felt like eternity

“Grab hold and make fast!” I bellowed to the crew on deck as we pitched forward and raced downward.

Another rose up in front like a beast and took a hard swipe at us.

Someone called out “Captain Parthia! We're going to lose the bowsprit!”

As we slid down that beastly wave I shouted to the helmsman “Hard to port! Turn to broad reach! We have to surf ahead of the crest!”

Everything slowed as the ship turned in the lull between waves, and caught the rising swell.

The crest of the wave broke in shades of silver and white as it curled like the unruly beard of a mad wizard roaring with maniacal laughter.

2/22 Chapter length: long, short mixed? What's a chapter?

Looks at current WiP
...hell if I know, I'm writing what Parthia tells me, her monologues at Mr Thrace might be considered chapter breaks shrug

231 — Has your MC or SC retained any friendships from their childhood or young adulthood? (Credit: @aperfectsong)

Parthia/Ta'regi has been best friends with Kairii since they were kids. "Thicker than cold molasses those two." As Parthia's mum would say.

Pintac has/had friends still in the clan he comes from, but those relationships weren't overly strong friendships. Which is partly why he went out into the world and ended up working on a merchant ship for a while (which indirectly led to Pintac ending up in Parthia's village)

Would you ever use emojis in your writing? Why? Why not?

Yes. Mostly just the music notes 🎶 to denote singing since........ mmm, I just remembered that there is ♫ .... ehn maybe I'll switch from the emoji to the ♫ /or ♪

I find it grimly humourous that cishets have an easier time identifying with vampires and werewolves in an allegory for marginalized people than they do for the actual people suffering in the real world

What's the secret to writing a good blurb?

Hell if I know. I haven't phyically published, so I have a bit more leeway on the word count. I tend to grab an emotional passage, or pose the theme as a question to the reader.

"I hold no ill will towards my village for my exile.

They understood before I did, that the woman known as Parthia Sreting was gone never to return.

I tried to convince myself more than them.

But as a child buried their head into their mother’s shoulder crying “ta’regi, momma, ta’regi!!”, I ceased my protest and paid what I thought was the costly price I had been told would come due.
How naive I was to think that would be where the cost stopped adding up.

I was a monster. I was the ta’regi from stories parents told to warn their kids to not venture far into the woods.

Parthia died the day she struck that Faustian deal, I just didn’t understand it as such.

I reigned in the feral instincts roiling in my muscles and sinew.
I was Ta’regi there after, and this was no longer where I belonged.

So I left.

I hold no ill will towards my village for my exile…

I had crossed a threshold. One for which there was no trail winding back to what was."

Do you give your characters mannerisms? How do you do this?

Give them? Ehn, they have them as a result of their experiences.

Tallia for example, when talking, she will unconsciously shift around until she can see the widest view of the surroundings. She also doesn't make large gestures with her arms... Reason: She grew up in an abusive environment. It hard wired her for being hyper alert, and to take up as little space as possible/ make yourself small.

Aeslla won't put her arm over someone's (adult) shoulders as her culture (werewolf) that's considered a disrespectful act for one adult to 'enclose' another adult. That's the sort of move you use to lock down a kid/preteen that's not able to exert control over themselves after changing back to human form.
