Our moderator EaglePursuit has closely checked the quarterly report of Take-Two games, and has noticed an interesting detail, which has been further supplemented by social media: On June 7 Take-Two will announce another title from the Take-Two core titles, which belongs to one of its most beloved franchises. While this could mean , the fan base of the Mafia games is expecting an announcement of Mafia 4 as well.

I truly hate to say this as I absolutely adore Star Trek.
But I’m trying to watch the first episode of the final season of Discovery.
45 minutes in and I’m horrified at what I’m watching.
I’ve had major ups and downs with this particular series.
But the non stop out of place, way overdone action sequences.
The constant unfunny quips, the off putting direction and camera work.
It’s all just too much for me.
Damn.
This is the complete opposite of what I love about Star Trek. 😲

The Battle Royale is huge but the concept is pretty simple! On a massive world map, 61 AI Civilizations got at it to see which one can be the last one standing. No human intervention in the show as a several months long game is recorded and then curated into narrated episodes across the action. Three seasons have been recorded so far, and the 4th one is about to start on March 20.

@luis_in_brief yes, indeed, and also had a replay feature, which went through all the important parts of the game. This is one of the features though, which doesn't have a gameplay impact, and I guess that is the reason why it got scraped, similar to e.g. the palace.

It seems there is also a spectator mod for , in case you only want to see the AIs battle.

Currently going through the steps of formatting my SD card that I use with my Miyoo Mini Plus.

I added a few games and somehow everything is just broken. Nothing will load. Loads of files seem corrupted.

@OutofPrintArchive yeah, starting with any new civ title will always be confusing, because there are many mechanics, much to discover and new things to learn.
I think I am even getting to old for that in the meantime...

I am not sure if that was an US release only. I do know that there was a separate Japanese one, with different graphics.
Quite some interesting things hidden in the past :D.

The latest info from gives us a lot of info about ages, but more importantly also information about the release: Millennia will be released on March 26 2024, and can already be pre-purchased. The standard version will cost 39.99€, and the deluxe version 59.99. The deluxe version will include two skins for early units, as well as two planned further expansions.

As mentioned, the latest update also gives us more insight into the content, as we now get small pieces of insights into each age. The "age of intolerance" for example will be focused on religion and how it shapes diplomacy and unrest in your civ, or the "age of aether" being a kind of steampunk age.

Here's my current thoughts on Millennia.

I'm really not convinced it does anything particularly well, but it also isn't bad. It hits the "one more turn" feeling, but it's also off. The art and music direction just doesn't hit the right tones with me.

But TBH, the demo itself will tell you if you like it or not.
And the community is normally not known to go for shiny graphis, but rather for good mechanics and intelligent opponents.
So nothing is decided here yet, in my opinion.
