OK, es gibt eine "Frauenzunft", wo sie auch ein bisschen Netzwerken spielen dürfen. Aber das ist natürlich Augenwischerei.

Seems to be massive disconnect between the hype pushed in the key notes vs. what the audience actually cares about. I don’t think I ever heard this many people complaining about them in the past.

@scy für zuhause mag ich borg irgendwie - hab das via ansible ohne grossen Aufwand einfach ausgerollt. Restic ist bei uns über einen k8s operator in Betrieb und es tut ist aber für meinen Geschmack noch ein wenig noisy

Okay, now I'm a bit sad that I won't be at , and it's because of this talk:

Presenter found an exploit in SMTP, notified commercial vendors GMX, Microsoft & Cisco in July, then published a blog post in the week before Christmas that describes how the attack works. Free software maintainers and admins were not warned in advance and had to rush to build workarounds.

Would've loved to talk to him about his idea of "responsible disclosure".

Auch deswegen nutze ich YouTube nicht direkt, sondern Links über @invidious* oder nutze es mobil via @newpipe*, um Videos zu sehen und so weit frei vom Tracking zu sein. Leider sind noch nicht sehr viele anregende Videoproduktionen im Fediverse zB auf @peertube vertreten.
