    I can see how a defendant has the legal basis to make that motion, but we are hearing from other lawyers that the conduct must be in the scope of official duties. Participating in a criminal conspiracy wouldnt seem to be in scope?

    Passkeys are great, but not safe from quantum computers. Dilithium could change that.

    just watched a video about the lack of bicycles in hollywood productions. e.g. there are post apocalypse shows where there's no fuel or they can't use engines for other reasons, and the characters are shown walking or riding a horse. they never try bikes even though it's the most popular mode of transportation on the planet. Daryl from TWD on a bicycle? uncool. if a protagonist is doing it, it's a comedy. riding a bicycle is seen as a ridiculous thing to do unless you're a child. I am stunned.

    Not only does the movie industry present bicycles as ridiculous plot contrivances, bicycles are the unmistakeable visual cue of a dystopian/failing world. The dark and dangerous street level life is so crowded that bicycles are the only viable transportation.

    Do you really think that matters to them? They'll be long gone when History--which can't judge anything, it can only be recorded and people learn/remember what took place--"judges" them.

    And it'll be too late by then anyway. And they don't care. At all.

    Can we maybe choose a different phrase? Like, say, "These vile fascists are total assholes who are destroying democracy and need to be stopped STAT"? How's that?

    Some might have previously thought is only hostile towards those Twitter users who aren't paying for the service. This and the "diversion team" that was set up for purely with the intent of misleading and punishing customers who had bought a Tesla car luckily proves that you can't just throw 💸 at Musk to get the psychopath billionaire to care about you.

    Thank you for your clear refutation of the “Garland is too scared/weak/timid” argument.
    I am sympathetic to the Elie Mystal position, but I am more persuaded by the actual facts availble to us.

    This is an important debate to have, because it is a way to hold ourselves and our politicians accountable.
