@jon
Those can be angle grinder hardened by what you fill the tubes with.
I have seen news stories (but cant find them now, thanks 2024 web search) about techniques for improving those. I recall something about aircraft cable (wire rope) inside to make cutting much more tedious.
@jon I have not heard of that. I would have thought concrete Myself, but maybe something that's normally solid yet becomes a gooey sticky mess when heated would be good. You know like tar or pitch.
@nitpicking
Besides sticking a bunch of stuff that would be in a dot dir in a regular Unix in ~/Library (which a straight "find ~" but not a "find ~/*" would search), the stuff in there has weird permissions generating pop-ups and error messages. It's slow and noisy and feels like "find /var" as a regular user instead of like looking through my stuff.

@ifixcoinops Don't want to leave it running all night here. Even on a hot day the nights are usually cool enough to chill things down in an hour or so with the 8000 CFM drum fan I have.
@mikey@KanaMauna@thomasfuchs I can't say I've tried them. I have had other agar based jellied confections. My impression is agar works but can't get as stiffly gelled as the meat based stuff. It's a small sacrifice overall for avoiding prion diseases.
Very interesting: Since I have adjusted my profile (picture and text), a lot of followers have dropped off. But the rubbish I publish is still the same. They were probably rather superficial personalities... 🤔
