@fadersolo@elsemusic I don’t. Whether he’s wrong or right, Mr. Collier made a rookie mistake and gave a writer an opportunity to transform the interview into a catfight between successful people.
(As a side note Mr. Rubin’s definition of pure art seems reasonable, but ultimately the question being begged is that pure art has intrinsic value for being pure, whatever that would mean.)
No one is wrong here. Mr. Rubin has a world view with which he functions successfully as does Mr. Collier.
After we passed the horseshoe bend (just north of SLO) I set myself up to do some scoring/production work for a game. This looks hella cramped, but I’m actually having a really great time cruising down the tracks while I write.
Am I the only one who thought Jay Z’s whole speech was cringe? Some real billionaire energy up there.
He trash talked the whole organization, seemed confused between his daughter & wife (?!?), and implied she’s never won album of the album of the year of some decision made in a back room. That’s literally not how it works.
Side note: Maybe if the Grammys adopted ranked choice Bey coulda won album of the year. #Grammys
