is the ideal project, imo. it hits all the important things for me

  • replacing
  • performance engineering
  • integrates with a large open ecosystem instead of creating a walled garden
  • pleasant to use

Open Source Maintainers how in depth should your CONTRIBUTING.MD be?

I'm like 1400 words in and I feel like I may be doing too much?

@kjaymiller I don't think 1400 words is long at all :) If you structure it in sections people can scroll through the relevant parts in a minute. Too many words may be skipped, but too little words initiates need to ask and takes more time from the possible contributor.
