@gamingonlinux they didn't describe anything that should make a static site sweat at all. The scale they described is laughable. Their chokepoint is probably some overburdened and optimized comment database or something.

@thomasfuchs I'm finding them useful as an advanced code auto-complete, and I think they're a step along a longer journey. Generative text/art is very oversold and ethically questionable at times. And yet, there's some societal value there, unlike other recent techno-social trends.

@eniko I'm reminded of learning trig in order to do graphics in QBasic as a teen. It felt like learning from first principals as I didn't have good resources. I enjoyed your video!
