@taber to be fair, it is just based on proven ancestry and that's about it. religious status doesnt matter and iirc theres no religious authority that enforces stuff. if you have the records to prove it, then you're good to go (even if just for a secondary passport)

@taber im likely eligible for at least 2 but i dont know if i want to deal with the nightmare of finding german family records and dealing with german bureaucracy to get a passport i probably wouldnt even use

I think it's pretty funny that migrating an admin account off Mastodon disables like.. all the functionality you need to manage the instance so if the only admin account and your personal account is the same one then the instance is essentially unmoderated.

The generation wars have hit tiktok and it’s as stupid as you’d expect it to be. A millennial made an awful rap song because she believed in misinformation conservative TikTokers were spouting saying that Gen z is trying to “cancel” Eminem. As well as the fighting about how Gen Zers age poorly and millennial influencers who get told off in any way siccing their followers on random teenagers who dare to be like “uh hey maybe saying 15 year olds these day look like handbags is kind of gross”

Casual reminder that you have no obligation to forgive people that have hurt you. As well, forgiving someone does not mean you should/have to forget the pain they’ve caused you either. Forgiveness can also still mean no longer associating with someone. You can forgive and move on as well. That’s ok.
