@gavi i've abandoned my dot scot (amongst the worst for moderating antisemitism in the fedi) account and don't even say what part of scotland i live in on this one.
yep. scotland 2024 and i'm hiding that i'm a jew from those i live amongst.
they're very very certain it's "just criticism of Israel" no matter what they say or do, as if that erases the history of the tropes they use or what they choose to accept as if it were true.
@gavi I've noticed the Seattle hashtag picking up a lot lately. There's a little "what if I can't follow this hashtag eventually" to it. (We're nowhere near that yet lol)
