@redrummy it's so versatile! i think a lot of the problems with tofu in the U.S. is some ppl think of it as a meat replacement (it's not... it's different), and most places don't have variety and do not stock good tofu. glad you have fun with tofu!

Okay this might be silly but... Do any other gender nonconforming folks out there struggle with how to present yourself in a "sexy" way because you lack examples to work from? I have aphantasia and can't picture stuff in my head to fantasize about and like, know if it might be hot to others.

I know logically, I should just try to focus on features I like about myself, accentuate them with clothes, camera angles, etc. At least, I figure focusing on what makes me happy about myself should be the way to go? But if I try to snap a naughty selfie for my partner to flirt, or even just take regular selfies these days, I never seem to be satisfied with how they turn out.

It'd be way easier if I had someone who liked what I had to offer giving me specifics on what and why. But being so outside the norm, it's not like there's tons of art or people making longing horny posts for girls who are basically bears like me lol. So I lack inspiration.

Alas, my partner very much loves me for me and bodies just aren't a priority to them (I know, such a "bad" problem to have lol) so they find me sexy, but that comes from demisexual emotional stuff. So iunno what to do! I just wanna feel like my sexy self a lil more like I used to.

Any ideas from those brave enough to read all that?

Tbh it's a pattern. Food, fiction, everything seems to have a "correct" or "wrong" position (healthy vs. unhealthy). I've been reading a lot of essays about cozy SFF vs. grimdark and the very fact that it's juxtaposed against each other feels a lot like one is good for you, the other bad...

I was very low key about birthdays even before the pandemic hit, so today has been a very quiet one, but it's been a good day.

C and I both took a vacation day, and when we discovered that we were low on the blues' food, I changed my "do NOTHING" plan and went along for the unexpected errand run. It was downright warm and sunny out, and I hadn't gone anywhere in a while. (At this point, I go out so rarely that erranding is kind of an Event.)

Will my forty-sixth year around the sun be when I finally learn to cook a little bit? I wouldn't count on it, but it's not impossible.

Whatever tiny amount of cooking ability I ever had fell victim years ago to some combination of "use it or lose it" and brain weasels that insist I can't do...well, much of anything, really. Which isn't true. But it sure feels true, and it's REALLY ANNOYING.

@amin tbh, I would love if ppl use "AI-powered features" to actually improve on things like, accessibility, which I have heard can be a thing. But most "AI-powered" things are kinda a drain, and is not geared with that in mind
