Adding to my generalized morning worries is the latest signs of just how badly my industry is degrading. No one is unaffected. Feeling crushed between the "Just switch to Linux" sentiment I'm seeing and the entirely understandable backlash of "Don't tell me just to use Linux". Now with search engines too.
I have no other answers to offer. There are no simple answers left. The options seem to be accept hot garbage or figure it out entirely for yourself. Neither are great.
I need to stop thinking about my little personal coding projects a potentially useful and see them as they truly are: the modern equivalent of building ships-in-a-bottle.

"Our fundraising is running behind, and we could really use your help. We still need to raise $24,760 this month (or $2,760 a day for the next 9 days) to meet our monthly budget. So far today we've raised $2,941, and for the month $45,239."
