I'd love to take up #running. My problem is that cardio makes me hyperventilate because I have zero control of my breathing. I've tried in through the nose, out through the mouth, but it always feels like I am not actually getting air.
At the gym, I do 5 minutes on the stair master and I swear the whole gym can hear me sucking all the air out of the room after about a minute and a half.
@pseudoramble@cringe I shouldn't talk, really. I'm about to start a Couch to 5K program and fully expect to die of hyperventilation at some point during it.
@jadugar63 my issue is I fail to breathe properly. Like my lungs won't inflate if I breathe through my nose. So, if I die, at least it's in pursuit of a good goal ๐
