KERRY KING: 'I Lost 10 Pounds Not Even Trying'
In a new interview with Riff X's "Metal XS", SLAYER guitarist Kerry King, who relocated to New York City less than three years ago, spoke about how he is preparing for his upcoming tour with his solo band after not playing any shows since 2019.
Second time at #Gym after joining. I figure "I'm not that unfit." I push myself.
35 minutes in and despite having stopped all exertion, and lying on the floor for another 20 minutes, my heart rate hasn't dropped below 120, I have severe pins and needles in both arms from the elbow down and I cant stop shaking.
I did somehow not throw up, so I guess I can count that as a win.

One of the "great" things about having your #gym membership at Planet Fitness is the frequent comedy of other members' workout methods.
Today? Dude was using the leg extension machine as though it were a poorly designed leg curl machine. I guess he thought the seat was for putting his stuff on? I guess he didn't notice that his rep-counter was staying at zero because he wasn't using it in a way that hit the "good form" thresholds?
Best part? The leg extension machines are right next to the (seated) leg curl machines ...both of which were available to use while he was abusing the leg extension machine. Even better was he was (ab)using the extension machine and the leg press simultaneously (splitting sets across the two machiness, keeping both unavailable for others to use).

I don’t get these #gym#clowns .
Instead of using one machine properly, they’re using two improperly, increasing their chances of injury, and being an obstinate ass in the process.
They’re probably the same type of people who take up two spots to park their fancy vehicle.
#rant There’s nothing more irritating in the #gym#weightroom than some jackass parking his ass in the equipment next to you and reeking of #CheapPerfume .
All y’all gots to stop ruining the nice dank environment.
