family needs help making it between situations!

We’ve been trying to work with super inconsistent income for a while now, and thankfully that should soon be behind us as we will receive my grandmother’s income when she moves in with us to take care of her in her extreme old age. It’s a couple weeks until then, though, and we need help making it to the finish line.

Emergency need for phone replacement!

I accidentally slammed my poor phone in a car door today and shattered the screen. It interferes with usability as I have vision issues, and it leaves glass in my ear :c

I’m a parent, guardian of my grammaw who is in long term care, and a Girl Scouts volunteer, I need my phone for hours of constant use throughout the day! A refurbished phone new enough to be decent and old enough to be cheap runs about $200.

Hey folks! I got an easy, feel good little #mutualaid post here!

I’m a Girl Scout leader of a troop of mostly autistic daughters of queer and trans families in Florida. We just finished an amazing cookie season! However, due to the nature of the cookie sales structure, we’re on the hook for 47 unsold boxes of cookies on our hands, which I really don’t want to make our families pay for!

Instead, if anyone wants to donate the needed $6 per box, we could donate these delicious treats to our local food pantry for folks who can’t usually access them, and our scouts benefit from the same sale! I’ll update our progress in this thread! Please boost, or even share off site :)

being the no fun adult sucks but I also love to do it cus I can’t trust anyone else to

knocked down a friend and her kid’s plan to go fossil hunting outside of the provided area at the phosphate museum (they were gonna go outside the main phosphate mines)

Teens used to goof around in there a lot in the 70’s. A third of that gen died of various cancers. Including my aunt of leukemia at 22.
