So I kept getting notifications from Sony that someone in Russia and another person somewhere in Africa were trying to log into my account. Changed my password, of course. Got another one today. Then it hit me; it's on an older banned account, so somehow my login for that has been retrieved and either someone has sold the account or has just posted it online somewhere... And now a lot of folks are probably getting disappointed :p

I keep hearing people describe games as "free" when played via their paid Game Pass subscription. It's either some weird marketing whispering going on, or people genuinely don't understand that something isn't free if you have to pay for access. The reason why I think it's some weird marketing whispering going on is because I can't think of anyone that describes Netflix or other service like this...

Something I've not seen outlets remark on yet is the fact that the Series X refresh is digital only, which I guess suggests Microsoft will be eventually dropping physical media. I'm curious how well that will go down for players with existing physical libraries.

The characters in Daikatana were supposed to have their models broken up into multiple segments, allowing for their heads, torso and legs to rotate independently of one another. It was a little similar to what was done in Quake III.

This got cut before the game came out, sadly, but you can see it in action in these screenshots.

Just had the joy of installing Windows on one of my machines, and good grief is it obnoxious. "Do you want to save things to the cloud?" No. "Do you want Game Pass?" No. "Can we have your location?" No. "Do you want to log in with your face?" No.

To top it off, even some of the drivers that Windows installed automatically for me come with their own "control panel" trying to sell me various services and apps.

This shit shouldn't be acceptable.

Some screenshots from the cancelled game Orchid, which was being developed by Argonaut Games. Shared some of the same rendering technology as SWAT: Global Strike Team. Hope we get to see a build of this eventually, looks like it could've been a fun game.
