@twostraws seems contagious... so far I've seen it cry, wail, and throw temper tantrums. I think My Mac seriously needs a time out for bad behavior.

Fun fact: Roy's solution doesn't work.
I think the simulators mistakenly deemed a virus problem is still lingering. To troubleshoot I pulled up a previous app and it was pulling Taylor Swift iTunes data and then stopped after turning it on again. I changed nothing! LOL

PS Thank goodness you know what IT Crowd is or I'd be completely lost.

My SwiftUI previews for Please Donโ€™t Rain stopped working and I couldnโ€™t figure out why. I finally filed a TSI asking for help.

I have my answer.

They broke because I have an apostrophe in my app name. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

In order to get them working again now they are suggesting I do a โ€œpretty thorough renameโ€ throughout the app. My concern about breaking something else (and the time it would take to fix) is greatly overwhelming my desire to use previews that havenโ€™t worked for months.

@MuseumShuffle something seems off with that answer. Like it's a bug not to allow them. I just did a brief search in the Mac App Store there's other apps with apostrophe's. Plus, it's part of the English language. Weird.

My grandmother passed away today. I feel so privileged to have known her, and for my children โ€“ her great-grandchildren! โ€“ to have known her too. 98 is a fantastic age, and Iโ€™ll always remember her love and kindness โค๏ธ

Happy Easter to everyone if you celebrate it.

I'm having fun with animations today before coffee with friends. Day 32 reviewed and day 33 of is complete along with my daily dose of the dulcimer British tones of @twostraws. I do have a question.

How do you make the padding also "active" in a button not just the text so that anywhere within the text and padding will activate the button?

Perhaps this will become apparent in future lessons.

@twostraws I totally scrolled for all the pics. Looks like they have their own blankets attached to them. This is Chloe. Sheโ€™s a chihuahua who could teach a master class on the benefits of napping. She has no teeth on the left side and a tongue that doesnโ€™t like to stay inside her mouth. Lol

@twostraws LOL Good thing you didn't ask for what they have behind the counter. That's where the "controlled substances" are that they sell without a prescription. :) We have an opioid epidemic fueled by prescriptions and probably China, but supposedly the items behind the counter are sold that way to monitor purchases becasue they can be used to make drugs. Overdosing is not on the radar here as far as I'm aware. If it was I feel like we'd all be naloxone certified.

Thanks for this post! My accessibility needs personally are larger text, especially on a small screen, which I feel is often forgotten about. This was very informative for thinking beyond large text to screen reading and how to design apps with other people in mind.
