Ich brauche mal Hilfe für eine Freundin: Sie möchte diese Casio Retro-Uhr von 1973 repariert haben. Trotz Batteriewechsel funktioniert sie nicht. Kennt ihr Dienstleisterinnen, Expertinnen oder sonstige Anlaufstellen, vielleicht sonstige hilfreiche Tipps? Ein "normaler" Uhrmacher konnte nicht helfen.

I've muted her for the same reason, and I'm under no illusion that she's going to change her ways any time soon.

I also have no intention of interacting with her further.(edit: she already blocked me - no surprise)

However, given the antisemitic tendencies of the Fediverse and the number of followers she has, a corrective response here and there is better than nothing, especially since she can't hide my response.

Der mit LastBoost versehene Post bezieht sich auf den zuvor geboosteten Post der Person, ähnlich dem "LastRetweet" (LRT).

Primär als Kommentar oder auch als Fortsetzung, wenn es sich um einen eigenen Post handelt, auf den dann Bezug genommen wird.

It would be nice to have an option to automatically delete your replies to other people's deleted posts.

Lack of context and all, these monologues with the void rarely offer any worthwhile input for me personally anyway.

Unlisted visibility doesn't change the fact that my own replies to other people's deleted posts will still appear on my profile weeks/months/years later, out of context.

Other people's recent local feeds etc. are not my concern here, and most of the time I come across deleted posts much later because people use the auto-delete feature for their own posts in 1 month, 6 months etc. increments.
A timeframe that I doubt very many people try to scroll through.

The idea that mima suggested though, a notification when a post is deleted to at least give you an option would be ideal I think.

In that regard it positively reminded me of "Forbrydelsen"/"The Killing", a concept I grew very fond of especially in a case with such deep-rooted family issues and consequences.

I'm interested to see if the book by Mattias Edvardsson, on which it is based on, resolves any plot holes related to the police work.

So is blocking readers to pull their feeds (I guess we have LLM training to thank for this). Is there any way to circumvent it? (Just setting a browser user-agent doesn't work, unfortunately.)

Luckily I haven't run into it yet, but I've been using Burkybang's Reddit RSS Fixer for years to get around their limited pull rates in the past.

Have you heard of Listenbrainz?

It has gone from being a backup/alternative to Last.fm to my main scrobbler and seems more accurate to me.

You might want to check it out, they offer import of your Scrobble history¹, Spotify support, web extensions and plugins for most players².

It's also part of the MetaBrainz Foundation, so should be immune to the enshitification that I fear will eventually hit last.fm.

Murlo's 'Dolos' album was accompanied by a graphic novel that told the story of a man who reconnects with nature through a hallucinogenic forest he discovers through an app.

The follow-up EP, 'Primed For Primal', is about the forest people from the album who come to worship artificial intelligence, which is his way of comparing our dependence on modern technology to the pagan rituals of the past.
