A couple of people have asked, since my recent instance change, about what I'm playing - musically speaking. Recently, I've been just messing around for a couple of hours, no more than 3-4 takes, and no previous idea of what I was going to do. Usually on a Sunday morning. As you can imagine it can vary in success widely but I'm also trying to learn how to record myself, get better at playing, everything really ... Here is a recent one.

It's provocatively entitled "240121 Song 4".

@Rob haha yeah, me as well. Mostly bass, but meddling in guitar. My 2 good friends growing up were (and still are) amazing guitar players so I learned a lot from them, luckily.

@Rob yep! Made by @ernie I believe. Works great. Weird, right. Also saw this great post about search, I use DDG or Ecosia or whatever but they're just wrapped Bing. All my life, things finally start to look up for a few days, maybe a few weeks if I'm lucky, then the other shoe drops. During those brief interludes where it does seem like things are going better, I miss a great deal being too busy waiting for everything to come crashing down.

@LibertyForward1 what a read. So sorry you're both going through this. My wife commutes 30 some miles each day too, it kills cars. We have 2 basically dead cars sitting outside we're still paying on. I have little answers, we have issues like this too, and we have worse in the past. Selling everything, scraping by. I still feel it a lot. Basically, hang in there, the love and support of your partner.. my wife has gotten me through some dark times. Really hope it looks up for you- just wanted to say something. I felt that rant. 😬 but also 💜❤

They turned into a Disney-Marvel like crap. No rhythm, no cool design, no blood, not metal at all. After loving more than any other movie of its decade, this is SO disappointing. The only movie of the whole saga that is boring and slow.

@pephorror that is supremely weird after Fury Road 😂 I always go in not expecting much because some recent movies have been kinda crap. That's a shame and I'm sure we'll see other similar reviews hahaha

i love Okami, but there is no excuse for its unskippable 20-minute exposition-dump introduction. it's almost so hostile to the player that Capcom should have been required to put a warning on the box, "heavy object required."

(to hold down the x button while you walk away and clean the house or whatever)

Started up a new necro for the new season of Diablo IV (Loot Reborn). Got her up to almost level 20 in just a couple hours (playing Veteran). Been using the Sever build (https://maxroll.gg/d4/build-guides/sever-necromancer-leveling-guide).

Game's always fun as hell for someone who just dabbles around in it like I do.

@ttntm I have to look it up, but yes, it did somehow - since I'm only level 19 I'm not finding a TON of stuff yet, still trying to level up quickly. I mean I have all rare stuff now, now to find some legendaries. But yeah not totally sure how that works, I saw it's much better though.

@ttntm whoaaa nice! It'll still be playable in Eternal realm. But yeah, for every new season you have to make a new character for the seasonal stuff which is why I made this necro haha. Played a bunch with my 17yo kid too, he hadn't played a Diablo game and really ended up loving it. GREAT couch co-op. Which is something I rarely do, games are usually just me playing by myself 😂
