Note: For reasons that have never been clear to me (sample issues?), "XYZ" was played on the live Peel Session broadcast but then didn't appear on the commercial "Peel Session" release Warp put out afterward. For a couple decades, until a digital re-release, we only had this radio-rip mp3 with John Peel's voice cutting in over the opening notes to introduce the song. Looks like I need new goals for the new year as I just smashed my last goal this morning. Starting at 540 pounds almost 2 years ago, I'm now down to 269 pounds, making for a loss of 271 pounds, just breaking the 50% mark from my heaviest.

I haven't been around lately, as a few of you may have noticed. Around the summertime, I ran into someone I really enjoyed playing with on Overwatch 2 and kind of fell into a new friend group playing games online together through them. I've been so busy with them that I have barely been anywhere else.

Got COVID two weeks ago despite being properly careful, being one of the few people I see still masking up when going somewhere in public. Thankfully, it was a pretty mild case and the only leftovers of it right now is a bit of fluid in my lungs that is going away.

Even though it's getting quite cold, I'm still out there going for my long walks and pushing myself whenever I can.

Current weight: 278 lbs, within 5 pounds of my new lowest, 273.

Hope you're all doing well and you are enjoying the holidays with people that love you.

So much to unpack in this short video. The crazy lack of safety as a worker almost jumps out of the way of a train, the police roughhousing people in the metro.

The stations look identical to today, which makes it all the more surreal.

This whole #wwe thing with Jade Cargill cracks me up. They promoted her as some giant signing and big coup getting her from #AEW. Yet she wasn't even in the woman's world title picture at AEW. She definitely looks great but there's a reason AEW didn't elevate her to the top. Its like WWE didn't do their homework here at all.
