@jeffcliff@Soy_Magnus german far left punk band "Mono für Alle" made their first album creative commons before creative commons existed. they even publicized tutorials to create the album covers and all. if u follow their guide there is no difference between a self made and a "bought" cd (german though http://www.monofueralle.de/urheberrecht.html )
"what if the instance bigresponses.icu implements activitypub to the letter but every response sends back responses that are 100TB large, is bigresponses.icu part of the fediverse?"
#threads is already starting to force unrelated bullshit into our notifications
Dunno who this esqueer is but whoever they are, i'm not following them, and have 0 interest in their posts. But here they are, in my notifications.
I'm not surprised of course, threads is and remains a bigger-than-birdsite-scale garbage fire, and virtually all of my posts there are telling people to join a real instance.
@MSF
> “We did what we could. Remember us.”
> These are words MSF Dr Mahmoud Abu Nujaila, who was killed in a hospital strike, wrote on a Gaza hospital whiteboard.
> Four of our colleagues have been killed.
> Many more have lost family members.

> Trump's lawyers are now saying that because POTUS isn't an officer, that presidents can violate emoluments, that Obama could run for a 3rd term, and that Jefferson Davis could be president again. They were asked about those hypotheticals and said YES. 4/
> OMG. So trump's lawyers, while trying to re-define what an insurrection is, says "Well, judge. you're probabably going to say I'm making this up. But didn't the judge make it up? Aren't we ALL just making it up?"
What a crazy argument. 5/ https://twitter.com/MuellerSheWrote/status/1732518485664886893
interestingly, canadian law seems to allow provinces to make their own citizenship laws for designating canadian citizens
even without the notwithstanding clause, saskatchewan could welcome 500,000 palestinians in and make them instant citizens
it doesn't work the other way though
provinces can't 'uncitizen' people that other provinces, or the federal government have designated citizenship for
[ though how much heavy lifting the notwithstanding clause could do there is uncertain ]
@jeffcliff afaik revoking the citizienship can be considered bad practice by other countries. they have nowhere to deport people without citizienships if they dont want them. revoking a citizienship is only easy if someone has 2. also keep in mind if they revoke the citizienship of someone else, only details will stop the state from revoking yours
There's enough water in the area for about 600,000 people.
This means, in the last decade, gaza has gone from 'a little over capacity compared to their long-term water supply' to 'COMPLETELY FUCKED" because they couldn't keep their dicks in their pants.
Part of the problem is they are trying to outbreed the jews, and aren't willing to sterilize their women (due, in part, to islam)
