55.5 hours of what can only be described as "insanely variable rate framerates", finished on just in time to see how runs on it (not expecting miracles here, but since I already put in 100 hours on the PS4 version I don't need to be "wowed"; I just want to do the DLC they denied PS4 owners)

game's prerelease files are 98GB... why do they keep making games so damn huge?

@quasirealsmiths I played Zero Dawn on the deck and found it quite playable. What really blows me away is Cyberpunk 2077 on the deck. When this game can run smoothly while looking ok, there really is no excuse.

Seen trailer and… that was a trailer. I wasn’t impressed by the looks of it, gave me strong vibes, with muddled color schemes and lots of murky darkness. I hope the writing is good but so far I‘m not holding my breath until it airs. Which is a shame because the premise of this show was really appealing to me.

@mrsjmccrimmon I‘m always torn between getting lots of new Star Wars and at the same time missing the big event feeling of a movie every couple of years. The live-action TV shows are a mixed bag for me. The first two seasons of Mando were great and Andor was absolutely amazing. But the rest, meh. Animation is still consistently great and if you have the chance, check out SW Visions, both seasons are fantastic.

@backofbeyond Andor s2 is being shot atm iirc. So we will get it and I‘m absolutely looking forward to it, the best TV Star Wars ever got. But man I also was curious about some Jedi action in the High Republic era. And from the looks and feels of that trailer, I‘m really worried that it turns out like Obi-Wan or Ahsoka (which were mediocre imo).

As a Moffat fangirl I’m SUPER excited to watch, but god I’m bored too! Bringing old writers back was fine (ish) when the show ran multiple stories every single year, but when there’s so few I want new ideas and voices.

Grumpy. I know I’ always grumpy.

And even more hypocritically it just makes me want to watch old 60s who more. Even I know that doesnt make sense

@mrsjmccrimmon That’s fair, I‘m just so excited to see his take on this new Doctor after many years away from the show. I do think it will be in his style, but I also expect some novelty from him. He is always an inventive writer, so I‘m really curious. Although you could say that DW is truly all about bringing back the old monsters 😉

While the entire circumstances of that particular ending are fcked up, the scenes with Misty are the best, probably my #2 ending scene after the Star ending of

V and Misty hugging good-bye on the streets of NC.
