This is my favorite allrounder built that can (a) get you passed every Tech and Int check, (b) is both a Katana warrior, as well as (c) a pistol and (Tech) rifle sharpshooter, (d) can go quiet as fck or loud as fck. It needs some additional cyberware to push up health and melee damage, but then it's unbeatable. Bonus: with 20 Int and Tech you get a lot of the deeper lore stuff in Cyberpunk. What's your fav built?

@AbsolutelyDerek I did Gorilla arms in my first go but then decided against them in my consecutive playthroughs. Just don't want to cut off my arms 😅 The boxing subquest is still doable, it mainly comes down to your own health and how fast you can smash dat button!

People on Twitter are debating whether a person using uncommon words like "delve" are trying to sound smarter than they are, or worse, are ChatGPT bots, because "normal" people don't talk like that.

You don't have to get upset, or embroiled in the debate. Not worth the time or attention. But I'll share some important context as your friendly neighborhood Nigerian 🙋🏿‍♂️

Many Nigerians have bigger English language vocabularies and better command of grammar than the typical American or English person

@mekkaokereke Love this thread! I'm also reminded about my experience (as a "Non-Anglo" person) in project work with people from across Europe and our conversations in "European English", with lots of our "native" words, phrases and grammar interjected into English. It made total sense for "us" (Germans, French, Polish, Hungarians etc) but the English were always puzzled. We sounded both too posh/complicated and too wrong for them at the same time.

@mekkaokereke i guess it all comes down to the point that the English language no longer belonging to "Anglo people" but to everyone. Which also means that there are many more "X-English" than AE or BE.

Yeah but they don't speak British or American English. The Swede will speak something like European English and the Yemeni some other form, maybe Arab English. The cadence, the sentence structure, the words, the phrases, all will appear strange to a BE or AE person. Because they never had to converse in a third language and make it "theirs". So we are not talking about capital E-English but something else, a third language that resembles English but not quite.

I find the idea fascinating that the early universe was one big habitable zone for the evolution of life – and then everything stopped and the seeds of life lay dormant until suitable planets existed. This could also mean that a lot of the universe's biochemistry is rather similar (we could eat the space salad... and potentially mate with it!).

@mikemccaffrey I do like Yorinobu's pants a lot (first picture) with the white shirt. But the yellow/golden pants and white tank top are also great. After playing through this game several times, I'm now mainly playing dress up with my characters 😅

@helligbird They change some conversation options but not the end scenarios. Corpo is actually the "best" path insofar as it gives by far the most additional conversation options. And you learn a lot about the world of Cyberpunk through that.

@helligbird What I like about starting again is that you can focus much more on the world itself and the nuances of the story. You know the big strokes already, so now you can spot the little details much better.

@helligbird To my surprise, Corpo makes actually more sense than Streetkid when it comes to the relationship between V and Jackie. And there's something satisfying to kick Arasaka down as an ex-Arasaka employee 😁
