Staying at a cute B&B tonight that was featured on a Rachel and Jun episode a while back. There’s a cat. I was able to pet the kitty but kitty wasn’t super stoked about it.

Then later I found the thing passed out on top of the water dispenser.

Same cat absolutely passed out half falling off of the water dispenser inside

Pro tip: if you ride a lap around Taiwan, go counterclockwise.

It’s the “official” direction, but there are other reasons:

  • the scenery and whatnot gets better and better the further you go
  • same with air quality and weather, it seems.

But most importantly, so you’re on the outside edge of the road on hills so you get to look at stuff like this while you ride.

When I forget to turn my vpn on does $video_service really think I was like “oh yea I forgot I can’t watch that in Taiwan let me teleport to us-west-2 real quick” or what?

Why do we have to do this charade?

Sorry all. The Mac build stopped working because we didn't push an update out for awhile. Just a TestFlight thing. New build is out and should be working again if you update.

Also we are getting closer to releasing Ivory v1.4 for iOS and finishing up a few final things for the Mac App Store release. We appreciate your patience on this!

@ivory I seriously cannot wait for the desktop release. Trying to do all of the photo posting and whatnot from my phone is an absolute disaster. I need this :(

(Absolute disaster not because of ivory but mostly because organizing photos on phone is just terrible)

@jeff my worry with a different client is that a lot of the things I have in ivory are not server side so I’d have to port that all over somehow.

@jeff yea and I want to try them all but position syncing is a big one too. Oof.

I am fine with primary consumption being on my phone so maybe I’ll find a good posting client (or write one) and leave the daily driving to ivory on my phone.

    @atomicpoet @kf this explains the changes to adult content via the api: they’re about to stuff ads in the api responses because right now you get an ad free experience with third party apps.
