You awesome people were so responsive to the picture of Tommy that I posted yesterday so I was hoping some of you might be able to chime in with your IBS experiences because he has it and none of my cats have before. I got Tommy a few months ago. He had been surrendered after having crystals and was eating prescription food for...
Thank you so much for the info. Definitely every cat (or person) is going to have a different experience which is exactly why I wanted to hear from people!
I’ve heard that too but he’s not deaf. He’s also not white though lol I got him from the shelter so I’m not totally sure about breed but I believe he’s an orange tabby/Siamese mix. I used to have this white cat with one blue eye and one green eye though and so many people asked if she was deaf lol
Ya big dork lol. He was already called Tommy at the shelter and I had a Tommy when I was a little kid so it seemed meant to be and I couldn’t change it haha
I didn’t edit anything specifically with the eyes. The only thing I did was brighten the entire picture a little because it was pretty dark and he had some shadows on him. That said his eyes are a lighter color in better lighting but they are very blue!
Edit: here’s the original plus a potato quality picture with better lighting that I think better reflects what his eyes normally look like imgur.com/a/SE8CxDR

Right? It’s not because people don’t want them, it’s because people don’t want the specific ones they’re selling and people want to be able to get from point a to b in them. I want one but I also have a pretty fuel efficient vehicle with low miles because I basically drive to the grocery store and maybe one other place each week so I’m sure as shit not trading it in for a massive vehicle that costs 3x more than it needs to.

Wtf is even the fucking point? If we’re gonna give Israel the weapons to genocide them with one hand why even bother with this fake bullshit “aid” with the other hand? Is anyone fooled by this?
He has a punch card that Moscow Mitch gave him. He gets to say 1 reasonable thing every 3 months and punch the card every time. Once the card is full he gets his Russian check for doing his duty to make the party look normal and reasonable without ever having to vote reasonably. If he actually votes reasonably he has to give the card back and can’t get his check.
The 35-year-old Bank of America (BAC.N) investment banker who died from a blood clot earlier this month wanted to leave the U.S. bank because he was working more than 100 hours a week, according to an executive recruiter who spoke with him about seeking a new job.
“It helps, but I can still tell that I have a deficit compared to most people when it comes to those things.”
I was totally gonna ask you about this until I got to the end! It seems like thinking without any kind of internal monologue would be incredibly abstract which might be good for some things but it would probably suck ass for trying to remember or understand extremely detailed instructions and things like that! I’m so curious what it’s like to think the way you do and I wish I could flip a switch for a little bit to experience it because it’s kind of hard to really imagine what I would be like.
There’s actually a theory that back in ye olden times when inner monologues first started, people thought it was God talking to them because it was a new phenomenon and that didn’t have any way to understand that it was some kind of evolution of consciousness, not a god.

I think they’re saying that they totally support a woman’s right to an abortion if she needs/wants one and that apparently severe consequences (beyond the ones we’re already experiencing) are the only thing they believe will get people to pull their heads out and stop voting for these monsters. They’re definitely not saying they believe women who have abortions should be in jail. They’re saying draconian abortion laws are ridiculous and if they were enforced with prison then conservatives might finally get it.
I don’t necessarily agree with that stance but that’s what I believe they are saying.
The googlest thing ever. Typically English words that are borrowed from French and would take “the most” as a modifier because that’s how it’s done in French whereas English or other borrowed words take “est”. It means the same thing. With words like Google, you could do it either way but as a native speaker the most sounds better with this particular word to me.
To say the second meaning it would be phrased more like “this is the most Googlest news week” or “this is the most Google news week”.
People will understand you no matter how you phrase it though! It’s just a matter of making sure you understand us since there can be some nuance that isn’t totally obvious.
I don’t want a Chinese car but at the same time if American automakers are going to continue refusing to make affordable electric cars and only give massive SUVs and trucks as our gas options then it seems like that’s pretty much the choice we’ll be left with.
Edit: if this frightens the Biden administration then they need to find a way to put pressure on American manufacturers to make some decent vehicles.
