I just put on an album, The Eminem Show, and I’m curious what everyone else has on. Music, a video, the television, some mystery noise from next door? What’s gracing your ear holes as you read this?
The fan on my heater (it’s a gas stove, not a cooking stove but the other kind) and it has a pretty loud fan that runs during and for a short time after heating.
I don’t get why they had to drive out 3rd party apps for that? They try to make the ads look like user content so it seems like they could have fed it into the 3rd party apps. It must have something to do with the exact placement of the ads?
Didn’t a black woman in TN or something vote once after being told by a government employee that she was eligible to vote then get sent to prison for it? Just saying.
It isn’t any of their business unless you want it to be so just be vague as hell. “I got another offer that is a good opportunity.” “I’ve decided to pursue other opportunities.” They’ll obviously ask questions and you can just remain vague. “I would rather not discuss specific details of my new job.”
Or if you don’t mind them speculating behind your back you can say as something like “I’ve decided to move on for personal reasons.” Just leave it at that and let them sit there and wonder. Is a family member sick and needs care? Are you sick? Did you get a different job? Do you hate everyone? Are you going to prison? Who knows because you aren’t telling them.
These are some of the same questions I had. Maybe eating like this really does kill you but maybe it’s actually pointing at some other factors they didn’t even consider. Where did they find the study participants? Were they all overweight or obese and using IF to lose weight? Did they eat a healthy diet, or was it 8 hours a day of non-stop hamburgers and pizza? Did they exercise or were they physically active? It just sounds way too general to draw such dire conclusions. Again, maybe the time restriction is actually the problem but it doesn’t sound like there enough info here to actually determine that.
The Plant Based Morning Show did a podcast on it this morning. It starts at about 23 minutes in. I haven’t listened to it yet but if anyone is interested in more discussion on it you can get some there.
Haha that’s such a great point. I love your comment almost as much as plants love Brawndo. It’s what plants crave. You can get Brawndo at every major retailer by the way and President Camacho fully endorses Brawndo.
At first I was with you but I was curious how she used $28,000 worth of gas and I’m kinda not with you anymore. I mean, has is expensive but let’s be realistic, no poor person is buying a year’s wages on gas over 6 months lol
“All told, the card was used 510 times, and more than 7,400 gallons of gas were pumped for free, the probable cause statement said.” The article also says she was letting other people pay her to use her card to get gas - so the gas pumped out free and they paid her a portion of what the gas would have been if they had paid the actual pump. That’s actually not the kind of thing I can really defend as just putting the poor people down.
As far as I am aware, grazing animals like cows or sheep poop in the same meadows where they eat grass, but presumably don’t have any problems eating the grass and pooping in the same space. But if humans would eat vegetables that they had pooped on, my understanding is that we would get sick....
My rabbits eat poop hay but not pee hay. They actually have special poops that they have to eat called cecotropes so I’m guessing their gut microbiome is more beneficial than ours. Also because they are hind gut fermenters, the bacteria necessary for the fermentation are probably different than the ones in our gut.
I was watching a video on Willem Dafoe on his iconic roles, and his passion to craft and life, and positivity, exudes from him immensely. In that video, I am surprised he remembers from which of his movies the lines came from. It made me love him more as an actor because he loves life and his job....
My bunny Ben does great impressions of Joe Pesci, just masterful performances. Most of Ben’s scandals are actually normal for a bunny, like pooping on the floor. I hope he keeps it that way.
Tilting conservative? I was under the impression that it fell off the deep end years ago. Idk I quit using it but that was definitely the impression I had.
Assume that you only have the resources and money that you’ve acquired up to this point in your life, and you still have to pay rent, bills etc. You are basically physically capable of everyday activities but extreme feats (eg running marathons, climbing everest) are not realistic.
It’s funny how the narrative changes when a group can actually fight back. Most of the Gen-Xers I know in tech aren’t going back to the office, not because they are ultrawealthy but because they are getting old, are virtually irreplaceable, and are prioritizing life over work after having survived the pandemic....
Someone recently told me that they sometimes feel gaslighted around me because I effortlessly make them question their beliefs and feelings. Hearing that didn’t sit well with me, especially since I’ve been pondering the question in the title for quite some time....
I would suggest that you find a therapist who is experienced with psychopathy and see them. Although a lot of people who are psychopaths do terrible things, not everyone does and empathetic SEEMING behaviors can be learned and be beneficial. It seems like this is bothering you and getting a diagnosis and learning how to read other people’s emotions and respond appropriately might help. Even if you aren’t actually feeling it, you could put them at ease and fit in better. Radical truth is great and all but little white lies get told for a reason and that’s something it might help you to learn.
