Wäre sehr wünschenswert, doch Parteien wie die FDP lieben fossile Brennstoffe. Die CDU denkt nicht weiter als bis zur nächsten Wahl. Und die Grünen haben kein Durchsetzungsvermögen.

Depends. I enjoy a card game or sudoku on mobile.

But for real games I use my PC. I don’t understand people going crazy about the steam deck too. Who in their right mind enjoys for example Cyberpunk on a tiny screen, that’s like watching Dune on your phone. What’s the point?

First thing everybody has to learn about computers: Don’t get attached to a brand/company.

2015 the core i7 gave me the most performance for my money. Last year it was the 7800x3D.

I had mostly AMD GPUs, but last year I got a 4700 because it’s power consumption was unbeatable for the performance it has.

Always buy the best stuff you can get for your money, don’t give a fuck about the companies.

If I search for something specific I now usually ask chatgpt and describe what I’m looking for. The results are often (not always) far better.

I don’t want to click through 50 pages of unrelated shit anymore.

To be fair, it has gotten a lot better. Games rarely get censored anymore. Dying Light 2 comes to mind. The Index also has become rare, also the complete confiscation.

But yes, I’m with you, the authorities have to go, the European classification should be enough!

That name rang a bell, I was not really sure why. I just went to my bookshelf, and one of my oldest books I actually started to collect was the novelization of the movie Total Recall (the Schwarzenegger one), written by - Piers Anthony!

I had no idea that he was pretty famous, I loved that book, but never cared about the author, time to change that! Xanth series, you say? I will definitely check that out. Thanks!

Yes, the RX 6600 is even cheaper and a great FullHD card. Two years ago I paid 600 Euros for that card because my old one broke down (worst timing), and that was the cheapest card to get at that time that did not suck.

Last time I checked it was at 220 €, good price (again).

You’re absolutely right, what pisses people of is that you can’t do shit without launchers today anymore, except for gog.

The Discs are yours, regardless if it’s a license or not, they just work whatever the publisher says.

Always on, Games as a service and game launchers and all that shit is a cancer that has to be cured.

Es wäre schön wenn das Blitzen der Standard wäre. Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen sind doch inzwischen gefühlt freiwillig, es hält sich doch keine Sau dran, sei es 30er Zone, Landstraße oder ganz schlimm die Autobahnen. Da kannst du doch bei einer 120er Begrenzung keinen LKW überholen ohne dass dir einer aus dem Nichts mit 200 Sachen fast ins Heck kracht und dann noch anfängt zu Hupen.

Was könnte der Staat Kohle verdienen…
