I love the compact look! Feels like you’re showing just the right amount of info here. My two questions/thoughts:
How does voting work in that view? (I’ll admit I haven’t logged in to Thunder yet so I’m not sure how voting works in-feed using the default view, if that’s possible)
could there be an option to put the thumbnails on the right side?
Honestly I really like Jerboa’s list view with the voting arrows on the left, but your compact view looks even classier since you iconified a few things that they currently represent with words. Excited to try your compact view once it’s been implemented!
Is it somehow possible to jump to the next top level comment in a thread? I find it really tedious to scroll through or collapse subcomments I'm not interested in. There was a button in Infinity for Reddit for this. I didn't see something alike here in Jerboa.
I also very much appreciated this feature in Boost for Reddit - up and down arrows at the bottom of the screen to navigate top level comments, and holding down the up button took you to the top of the post. Quite handy!
Hey guys, a week ago I started working on a lemmy app like many others as an excuse to learn flutter. Along the way I found an old app that was abandoned but very well built....
Man, I know it's a different app but I'd be so thrilled if the Boost dev decided to jump ship and make a Lemmy app. I tried so many reddit apps and Boost ended up being everything I wanted and more.
This is the smartwatch I own. True netrunners know that the tech we wear on (or under) our skin is a prime entry vector for ever hungry megacorps to bleed the pulsing data from our digital veins, so having a wearable I have full control over is of paramount importance. I can flash it with new firmware whenever I want, the...
I started rocking a Pebble Time about a year ago with my Android phone and I absolutely love it! If you can find one with decent battery life and get Rebble set up on it, it'll still serve you well (in my experience, at least).
EDIT: if anyone needs help setting this up, the Rebble Discord is full of friendly and helpful people :)
Someday I want to try running Pathfinder (2e) but I've never really run anything before so it's a bit intimidating. Right now my group is playing 5e but I'm hoping they'll humor me and let me do a one shot sometime.
Man, I really wanted to get the Zenphone 9 as an upgrade from my Pixel 4a - love the design, love that it's on the smaller side, love that it has a headphone jack. I still might dive in, but I really wish they would support longer term OS updates :( or at least security updates. Not sure what I'll be doing when my Pixel reaches end of service this year. Maybe the Zenphone 10 will be the phone for me?
I've had this issue with list view as well - I'd personally move some of the elements around as well, but I think that bare minimum it would be great to increase the padding around the post title while still making that area tappable would be a big upgrade. Should still keep the view compact while making tapping more reliable. Your pull request makes sense too though I think.

Sneak preview of OLED Black theme, and also a more compact view for those who were requesting these two features!...

I've resurrected lemmur, a beautiful flutter app. Coming soon to an instance near you! (bigfoot.ninja)

Not much of a difference in size for the pro, but trending in the right direction.
