@Rasta I only do the 1980s ones - general and the No.1's as my musical knowledge is mainly confined to a 10 year period - but I try to do it every day. When together, my husband and I play in person on my phone but as I work away, we also play remotely using a video chat over breakfast.

@steely_glint I read about the”smart” motorway thing - sounds terrifying. I am used to dodging potholes in Nova Scotia but now I will have to do it with gears - I have got very used to an automatic after 16 years.

@quixoticgeek I did think about flying into a European city and get the Eurostar into London. Bringing my 18 year old son so thought he might appreciate seeing more on our journey.

Duck update: The duck near our house is still there. My son suggested that we call him Ducklas.
I think he picked a good spot because the creek bank is a steep slope about 5-6 feet where he resides. I don’t know if coyotes can get to him. It would probably take a net or a snare at the end of a pole to catch him. We’ve been feeding him some bread.

I haven’t seen him fly. My guess is that someone abandoned him, but all the neighbors hope he stays.

Here’s a great list of safe-for-waterfowl foodstuffs, which include cucumber, corn, peas, beans, broccoli, beets, squash, flowers, alfalfa, tomatoes, eggplant, bananas (no peel), pineapple, pomegranate seeds, scrambled eggs, dry cat food or dog food, and rice.
