Sigh, I spent hours and hours working with a client to figure out why #GoogleAnalytics stopped being reported for their #Drupal site. Turns out to be a two line bug in the google_tag module that made a checkbox checked by default no matter what value was selected before.

I'm not sure why folks in the #Drupal community are confused about how regular people and small organizations are finding the product hard to use after years and years and years of Dries pushing the project to be "enterprise-level".

Maybe instead of #StarShot, we should call it #DrupalTimeMachine where we try to correct the gigantic mistakes that we made in the past.

It makes absolutely no sense that #DesignSystems and #FrontendFrameworks like #TailwindCSS have decided to have darker colors be higher numbers, since computer screens are an additive color system where the more color you add the brighter things get.

I still do not understand why I would ever use #LayoutBuilder in #Drupal10. It seems like a step back to the old days when we were using html tables to lay out a page, rather than starting with semantic structure and then applying styling.

Has anyone looked at whether these performance claims for aggregated css/js in #drupal are still applicable in 2024?

With modern HTTP 2/3 a single server request handles multiple files, and the contents are encrypted to save bandwidth.

We have a client site where some crawler bot has been repeatedly coming to the #drupal site for years and trying to access hundreds and hundreds of bad urls. All of the requests from one of their previous episodes caused #pantheon to bump the account up to the next tier, costing the organization hundreds of dollars more a month. Any ideas on how to keep an out of control crawler off of a pantheon site?
